At The Young Engineers and Scientists Seminars (YESS) you can listen to intriguing lectures from some of the area’s finest engineers on topics such as aeronautical engineering, the principles of radars, and materials sciences. You will also learn to apply various engineering concepts through weekly team contests, as well as a final contest to conclude the seminar. Points are awarded for competing in the competitions and the points leaders by the final seminar will be eligible to receive a prize! Work to complete fun team projects like making a rubber band powered car or a tower entirely made from popsicle sticks.
Don’t forget! We also have free food for all attendees.
We are currently offering a 4 seminars for high school students in October.
